Here are just a few poses of a pet character I came up with last night:

Nice cat designs. Hey- great header photo gallery! I dig that Seattle Market shot, it reminds me of walking to the Art Institute everyday…but it sure feels good to be back in CALI !!! I have a slew of header shots too, just never got around to posting them - yours have such great compositions.

Gerald — Thanks for all the comments. Again, greatly appreciated. Glad you like the header images, too. So you spent some time in the Seattle area, huh? I lived up there for over 8 years. My last two or so years, I lived in an apartment just down post alley about a half block from where that picture was taken.

Hmm, who does Murray remind me of? Someone skinny and stripey and cute.

Sorry–fiction writers hate it when people assume our characters are based on real-life people, so I won’t jump to conclusions about Murray’s resemblance to any cats you may or may not know.

Either way, I love his shoulder blades.

Yes, there is a slight resemblance, isn’t there?

About Lee-Roy

I’m a Storyboard Artist and Illustrator currently in Los Angeles, where I live with my wife, three cats, and several colonies of ants. My earliest memory is as a three-year-old, drawing a picture. About three decades later, the picture is still being drawn. It’s one I never want to finish.
