About Lee-Roy
I’m a Story Artist and Illustrator living in Los Angeles with my wife, daughter, and three cats. In my earliest memory, I am drawing a picture. Three decades later, the picture is still being drawn. It’s one I never want to finish.

Very cool–it’s nice to see something different from the usual baby/old man New Year cartoons.
Oh, and I had a great time listening to my Holiday Lights CD. Happy ‘07!
Thanks, Cheryl. A Happy ‘07 to you too and I’m glad you’ve enjoyed listening to the CD!
I actually like the old man motif, though I can’t say I’ve seen anyone improve upon the concept since first seeing it done by Windsor McCay in Little Nemo In Slumberland. I had a related idea for a new year’s card last year, but I slacked off and never completed it. It became more of a variation on the idea and not actually the old man vs. baby image. Maybe I’ll do it at some future date.
