Some sketches from Venice Beach on Sunday. I might post a couple more of these tomorrow. Happy Fourth to those of us in the States. The smell of lighter fluid and gunpowder is in the air.

Nice sketches at Venice Beach. I tried sketching at Stinson Beach (Nor-cal) and it was super windy. I think I’ll try it again after seeing your awesome sketches.
Yeah, it’s a little tough drawing at the beach, anyway. Some of these were drawn lying on my stomach with my elbow planted firmly in the sand. Not very efficient, but I was trying to get them down on the fly. Thanks for the comment, now get back out there and do some sketching!
